Innocoats Chromate

Chromate treatment is a chemical process where a chromium compound solution is applied to a aluminium surface (MIL-DTL 5541 F), to form a protective chemical coating of chromate. A chemical reaction occurs between the base material and chromic-acid-bearing compound to produce a corrosion-resistant film that is physically and chemically bonded to the base metal.

Innocoats Silk Screen

A stencil method of printmaking in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. Also called screen printing, silk-screen process.

Innocoats Iron Phosphate

Iron phosphate coating is the most used method of phosphate coatings mainly consist of spraying lines. It is preferred for its easy maintenance, simple control and lower operating costs despite having lower corrosion resistance than zinc phosphate coating. Iron phosphating is suitable for iron, steel and galvanized (zinc) metals in immersion or spray treatment lines. Neutral degreasing chemicals can be used in iron phosphating bath, so that degreasing and phosphate coating can be made in the same treatment bath. Use concentration of the iron phosphate coating chemicals are less when compared to zinc phosphate coating. Iron phosphate process has also the advantage of low formation of phosphate sludge.

Innocoats Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form.The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin.” The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermostat polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

Innocoats Liquid Coating

Liquid painting is also an excellent technology option for finishing assembled components and products where powder coating and electrocoating may not be suitable. Innocoats applies liquid paint to a variety of products and substrates including: automotive steering gears, drive shafts, and hydraulic motors; truck wheels requiring special colors; tractor chassis assemblies and assembled machines. A special high temperature resistant liquid paint is applied to automotive exhaust system components.

  • Powder coatings emit zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC).
  • Powder coatings can produce much thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging.
  • Powder coating over-spray can be recycled and thus it is possible to achieve nearly 100% use of the coating.
  • Powder coating production lines produce less hazardous waste than conventional liquid coatings.
  • Powder coated items generally have fewer appearance differences between horizontally coated surfaces and vertically coated surfaces than liquid coated items.
  • A wide range of specialty effects is easily accomplished which would be impossible to achieve with other coating processes.
